Wizards 8  Hornets 8

The 1st game was against the Hornets.  The players came out with a good positive attitude and some very good defending from all.  On offence we kept the pressure on the Hornets scoring 4 baskets, one each from George and Ross and two from Nathaniel.  This gave us a draw at the end of the game the score being 8-8.

There was a bit of confusion as we were unsure if this was another game or the 2nd half.   As the score board was put back to zero we assumed it was a new game.

Wizards 8 Hornets 6

The players were back out against the Hornets, with the last game being a draw the confidence of the Wizards was high. Pressure defence was key in this game as this was a low scoring game.  The hornets could only manage to get three baskets but the Wizards took the lead with four baskets of our own, one each from George and Nathaniel and two from Ross.  This gave us our first win.  The final score was 8-6.

Wizards 18  Hornets 22

The Wizards were back out yet again playing the Hornets.  This game was in two ten minute periods.  Some very good defending once again kept the game tight.  Once again the players put pressure on the Hornets from the start on offence and defence.  There were four baskets from Nathaniel, three from George and two from Ross.  The game was very close and the final score being Wizards 18 Hornets 22.

Wizards 12   Hatters 2

The final game was against The Hatters, once again pressure defence and offence made this our biggest win so far.  Four baskets from George and two from Ross gave the final score of Wizards 12 Hatters 2.

Well done to all you guys, you all played really well and deserved to win.
