REPORT
Wizards versus Dunkers B
Confidence was high as the Wizards entered their second match after beating the Academy C 14-4. This was shown up front by Conor and George who both expertly got 4 baskets each. William and Jacob were both solid in defence which allowed the Wizards to keep a clean sheet. Joel’s hard work around the court eventually paid dividends when he got on the score sheet with a basket. All in all it was a strong performance that left them with a 100% record.
Wizards versus Trailblazers
The Wizards still had their 100% record after getting past the mini sharks by the narrowest of margins. The trailblazers proved to be tough opposition. However William found himself up front and was well positioned to get 2 baskets. Jacob and Conor were holding up well defensively but the trailblazers applied the pressure. When Conor had to go off to receive treatment to an injury the opposition sportingly took off one of their players but this affected the balance of play. Joel managed a late basket but although the team played strong their 100% record was gone.

REPORT
Wizards versus Hatters
In their first match the Wizards hadn’t yet got settled as a team as the Hatters showed their organisation. Hollie and D’Vante did some excellent defensive work and Annabel showed some good dribbling skills. They started to look more like a team as George and Marcus weighed in with 2 baskets each. Alas it was a case of too little too late.
Wizards versus Raiders B
The coaching team’s work really showed in this match as the Wizards showed what they were capable of. D’Vante was still covering a lot of ground as Annabel got the team of to a good start with a basket. Hollie and Marcus also contributed a basket a piece whilst George finished off the Raiders with a haul of 4 baskets. Overall an impressive team performance.
